ASHRAE and REHVA Memorandum of Understanding renewed

On June 25th, 2017 ASHRAE and REHVA signed a renewed Memorandum of Understanding to promote substantial and tangible actions to increase cooperation between the two organisations. The renewed agreements aim is to better serve their respective members by improving sharing, educational offerings to strengthen the knowledge of practitioners and engineers.

Both organisations already play an important role in creating a more substantial world through technical expertise, education and research to help produce a comfortable, healthy and energy efficient environment. As part of the agreement, both will explore ways of working together to build an international organisation to be the voice for sustainable technology worldwide and to build a Global Alliance on Indoor Environmental Quality.

This renewed agreement builds on President Olesen’s inaugural presidential address, “extending our global community will acknowledge our interconnectedness and embrace our shared needs and objectives. By creating a new region and strengthening our relationships with associate societies in Europe, our members will be even more empowered to continue producing and sharing technical guidance worldwide. This will, in turn, bolster our industry’s global diversity as we work toward a more sustainable world”.
